The Future...
Posted by shrikes on Thursday, November 27, 2003 8:55 AM
Okay, i keep hearing it in the forums and in the magazine... Future is some miracle floor wax that modelers seem to use on everything but their floors, is that right? people keep spraying it here or coating something there, but just what the heck is it??? Confused [%-)] The only floor polish i know here in Manila is Johnson's floor wax (or something like that) and that only comes in red. call me crazy, but i like my B-17s in olive drab and not bright red. Big Smile [:D] is there another name for this thingie and what is it used for? (in the modeling world that is... someone's bound to say "it makes floors shiny, you Dunce [D)])

Shrikes,

Been looking for it around here for quite sometime also but to no avail. The future floor wax is an acrylic type similar to Pronto clear liquid floor wax I think available before. There are now white liquid floor wax in the supermarket but I have not tried them yet but they do dry up clear. For now I just use Tamiya Clear and Gunze Sangyo Flat Clear. I am hoping to do experiments using these white colored liquid Pronto Floor wax one of these days though. I'll keep you informed.
