Changing Air Brush parts
Posted by Greasy on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 3:12 PM

I have a cheap air brush that I like, but for Christmas I am going to get an Iwata HP-C.  I am really looking forward to it.  But I have some general Airbrush questions.

  1. What does the Needle size mean?  I know it's the size of the needle but how does it affect the spray?
  2. On mine and the Iwata have a "chuck" in a hole on the back end of the brush where the needle can be moved back or forward?  What is this for?
  3. I seen different Nozzles or caps, how does this effect the spray?
  4. What is the add-on part that makes it a "triple" action brush, what does it do and is it useful?

Thanks,
Jon

Your questions were answered at the Iwata web site and a basic airbrush book.
