Yes, I am an airbrush noob:
Yesterday I got my order in from Squadron including the bottle of Vallejo Green Zinc Chromate colored paint I needed to get going with my current build. So I head down to the basement, pour some into the airbrush cup drop in some Tamiya Acrylic thinner, and start spraying.....and it is watery and very transparent. I won't say exactly how long I sprayed before I realized the Vallejo paint is "airbrush ready" since it would probably be more pathetic than funny ![Blush [:I]](/emoticons/icon_smile_blush.gif)
Moral of the story: All you other airbrush noobs out there....DOUBLE AND TRIPLE CHECK YOUR PAINT BEFORE SPRAYING!!!!!

P.S. But on a brighter note the Tamiya stuff I used afterwards was properly reduced by me and sprayed perfectly! I felt SOMEWHAT vindicated after that.
