Automotive paint
Posted by chef_Jaeger on Sunday, January 11, 2009 10:04 AM

I am looking for a great company to purchase high quality automotive paint from in rattle cans.  I know of tamiya but I want more selection in perls and kandys then that does anyone know of a company.  Also if I do have to get a airbrush I might then my question would be what about a company that sells just a 4 oz bottle of all of their highend automotive paints i.e kandys, metallics, iredescents, ect?

Thanks

Check out Coast Airbrush in Anaheim, CA.

http://www.coastairbrush.com/

They sell the entire line of HOK (House Of Kolor) paints which are some of the best urethanes money can buy.

You can also try your local wally world, they sometimes carry HOK rattle cans...pearls, kandys, clear top coats.

Also, there was a company, a while back, I believe it was called 'black gold' that hada wholeline of the HOKpaints in rattle cans.

HOK "rattle cans" at Wal-Mart? Are we talking about the same paint company?

House Of Kolor paints are VERY expensive and if Wal-Mart carried them I would be shocked!
