Olive Drab Problems

I just got in to building and im having problems with the olive drab, on the box there olive drop is light creamy flat colar and mine comes out in a dark green colar, please help

What type of paints are you using? Have you tried mixing in a little white or light tan with your Olive to lighten it up a bit?

Don't judge a drab by its tone...there is no single standard. It is also known that this color fades extremely quick on aircraft. If yours is too dark, then you might say the object depicted is factory fresh...if you prefer to go with a lighter tone, add a couple drops of yellow...doesn't matter which shade. You can also use flat white or light gray if you prefer. Mix all paints thoroughly to ensure all of the pigments are suspended in the carrier!

Ok thank you guys, I'm only 14 so all this is still kinda odd haha but im going to try the white as soon as I get home thanks agian.
