Tamiya Acrylic paint and flat finish
Posted by M1 A1 A2 Tanker on Friday, February 20, 2009 4:21 AM

Hey

     Guys

I am about to finish my 1/48 Tiger I and was wondering what flat finish do you use after your done decaling?

I have used dullcote and it seems ok.

Just wondering because I once used Testors acryl glosscote over Tamiya paint and it caused the paint to run for some reason.

However, that model was not primed and this one has been primed then painted with Tamiya products.

TIA

Scott

I like Testors Model Master Acryl Flat.  It's more flat then their Dullcoat.  It also can be airbrushed right from the bottle.

Polly Scale Flat or Satin is the best I've tried.

Ross Martinek A little strangeness, now and then, is a good thing… Wink

I second Ross' vote for Polly Scale. Good stuff!
