Acriylic or enamel?

Each has its advantages and disadvantages, which have been enumerated many times both here and on other forums. I suggest you do a search on the topic here. You'll get a mouthfull… or perhaps I should say an eyefull… whatever, it's all here, somewhere.

Actually how thin or thick a paint is doesn't really depend upon whether or not it is enamel or acrylic.  Even within a single brand of paint, be it Model Master Enamels, Tamiya Acrylics, or Model Master Acryls, there is a lot of bottle to bottle variation.

Ditto Ross on using the search feature for this one.  The question of "Enamel vs. Acrylic?" has been beaten to death as much as the question of "Which is the best airbrush?"

Ironically, for me the Tamiya is painted with the Paasche and the Model Master enamels with the Badgers.

I have 13 Badger airbrushes so the choice is simple....or is it?

What's the best thinner and thinner ratio, and what's the best paint to use it with, and what's the best airbrush and compressor to spray it all in which spraybooth (the best of course)? Oh, and what is the best model to use it all on?
