My Badger 100LG has arrived!!!
Posted by cml on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 6:30 AM

Howdy all,

As you may have guessed, my 100LG finally arrived in the mail - big thanks to Ken Badger for helping me out with that.

Now, before I load it up with paint, I've been reading the instructions about changing heads, needles etc.

The instructions refer to a "3 cornered reamer, part (50-061)" to remove the tip.  The diagram in the instructions doesn't seem to show the reamer.

I'm a bit stumped as to what the reamer is - can anybody help?

Also, the head seems to be fairly tightly screwed into the body - I assume it should just unscrew - is this correct?  Any tips on how to remove it without using pliers etc which may ruin the whole brush?

I know you guys can help with this, thanks in advance.

cml.

Hi CML,

I have a Badger 100LG with a medium tip myself and I have been very happy with it.

Mine came with a little wrench to take off the tip.  I didn't realize it was called a 3 corner reamer. That sounds very serious and Halloweenish!

The tip should come off pretty easy.
