AS-29 is a pale grey-green as applied to Japaneee Naval aircraft.

AS-3 is a Lutfwaffe camouflage colour.

They are two very different colours.

      Sorry about that let me try to make it clearer what the question was.  Is Tamiya color #AS-3 which is gray green the same as AS-29 both Tamiya colors are grey green.  From just the numbers you would think not.  But Tamiya might changed there color codes since this kit was made.  Hope that is a little clearer.

    Hello again second try at posting this question working on Tamiya's mitsubishi a6m3 zero fighter.  One color scheme calls for gray green #as-29 ok so far so good. I go down to the local hobby shop find gray green and spray can #is as-3 and below that says luftwaffe is it the same color.
