Future floor polish question
Posted by CaptainDunsel on Friday, May 1, 2009 7:37 PM
Not sure this is the best forum to post this in but here goes. I have a bottle of Future floor polish that is probably 10 years old. Does any one know if this stuff ever goes bad. It looks OK.

Where and under what condition has it been stored?

Pour some in a clear glass bottle and hold it up against a white sheet of paper in daylight. If it looks yellowish, it's gone off. If it looks bluish I may still be okay, although the viscosity may have changed. In the latter case, try it. If it works, it's fine.

Future does go bad eventually, but if you keep it cool and in the dark, it lasts a very long time.

Thanks Triarius. Probably ought to quit being so cheap and just go ahead and buy a new bottle already!
