Painting Old Wood & Weathering Red Paint
Posted by MarkDunck on Monday, May 4, 2009 9:02 AM

I am working on a railcar. I want the wood to look very old. Kinda greyish. So it looks like wood that has been around a while. Also used as tracked vehicles have driven on and off it. By the way one kit is plastic and the other is resin.

The Reichsbahn was not part of the Heer, so railcars varied in color. brown, green, black, red, etc... One of my kits is red. But I need to tone it down. Weather it so it looks older. By the way the decals are already on, as I want them weathered as well.

Thanks in advance,
