Dark Turpentine Wash on Top of Tamiya Acrylics
Posted by MonsterZero on Friday, December 12, 2003 5:05 PM
I plan to make some thin dark wash and apply it into the recesses of my tank. The tank has a base coat of Tamiya acrylic NATO GREEN (matt).

For the wash I plan to use a Testors airbrus thinner (turpentine based) with a bit of Humbrol black and Humbrol green.

I hope there is no danger of the turpentine lifting the acrylic base? If somebody has had bad experiences let me know ASAP.

Thanks in advance for all replies.
