Cheaper Alternative Thinner for Humbrols?
Posted by MonsterZero on Saturday, December 13, 2003 12:15 PM
Ever since I switched from Tamiya acrylic thinner to the same Osco Drug thinner at 1/6 the price (and twice the bottle size) I am interested in more affordable thinners.
Big Smile [:D]

Can somebody recommend some Osco Drug/Walgreens alternative for Humbrol paints and other enamels?

Yes, I have run into those at Ace Hardware. I bought a large metal jerrycan of turpentine. Good stuff although surprisingly greasy and the smell is pretty intense.

I use general lacquer thinner with Humbrol enamels. Works great for me.
