Force drying Future can cause orange peel or spider cracks. It's not neccessary to thin it with anything. Used at room temperature it drys pretty fast all by itself. Excess temp high or low can cause problems also - follow same temperature rules as enamel paint use. See my web site for "The Complete Future" or the upcoming March FSM issue. (shameless plug)

You don't thin it for airbrushing. You spray it straight out of the bottle.

I use Future on mostly all of my aircraft, but always with a brush. I understand that Future can be thinned with ordinary rubbing alcohol. What is the ideal mixture proportion for airbrushing? Does it dry faster with the alcolhol?
I once read in a book that the application of warm air after applying Future improves its ability to seep into flat paints. I have always done this but I never hear this techinque being used. Am I the only one that does this?
