I started with a $20, on sale, cabinet from Target that is 36x30x15. The loose shelf was screwed in place to make the top of the plenum. 2 pieces of corner molder were glued inside to hale the filter at 45 degrees. Hole for the blower was cut, blower mounted and the plenum all sealed with silicone. Took a couple of hours and that was only because I was trying to figure out how to mount the blower because of the flange on one side. A ring of particle board was cut to go around the inlet tub, glued on both side and bolted through the shelf into the tube. Solid as a rock. The 2 sides of the filter still have to be blanked off and there will eventually be some lighting, AB hook... stuff like that.
