Hey there Rkbush.

Im not very familiar with the subject youre building so I cant tell you exactly what hue you need. The best approach, however, would be to mix black and silver paint (this could prove difficult depending on the paint brand you use as sometimes, the two colors dont mix), and compare your "brew" with photos of the part youre supposed to paint. "Iron Black" can mean different hues for different paint manufacturers. It could mean "gun metal" for some.

Hope this helps.

My wife got me a Dragon Horten kit for Christmas that calls for "iron black" paint. I haven't been able to find this color mentioned on-line. I'm open to suggestions on what would either be a close match or what colors to mix.
