mixing Tamiya Acrylics with Model Master Acrylics

Can you do this? I mean, obviously I can, but will it not mess up anything?

I avoid mixing brands like that, but who knows? It might work.
Why not give it a shot and post your results?

Well, I guess I'll try it, but I was hoping someone would be able to tell me; I really don't wanna waste paint, but I guess I'll have to run that risk. I'll post results hopefully by tomorrow.

I'm not sure this makes a difference, but tamiya acryls are alcohol based and model master acryls are glycerol or glycerin based. They might not mix well, but then again, I've never tried.

Ive tried it. Occasionally I use some Tamiya white to lighten up some MM paints. I havent had any trouble. Theres no reason I do this though, just been lazy and havent bought a MM white.

I just tried it today; as far as I can tell, no problems with mixing Tamiya Acrylics and MM acrylics. I haven't airbrushed it yet, but it came out fine with brush-painting.

Thanks. I use model master acryls in the airbrush, but have heard so many good things about Tamiya's, I thought I'd try them. Good to know they're compatible.
