airbrush/compressor recommendations?
Posted by jadgpanther302 on Thursday, December 3, 2009 4:52 PM

I am looking for a new airbrush and compressor. I have heard that grex airbrushes are very good. I want an easy to clean well lasting brush and solid compressor under 300.

ThankYou

I would stick with Badger myself as they make a great airbrush and the parts and service are easy to come by. For a compressor the choices are vast depending on what you want.

I know this is over a year too late but try fishing on E-Bay. I landed an Iwata Smart Jet Pro about 4 months back that was used maybe 10 times over a 1 year period. It was $180.00 and it came with an Iwata HP-BCS airbrush that alone was a $100.00 value. (the compressor new is $285.99) so I was lucky.

Check out this BearAir set for $299.  The Peak C-5 has a solid reputation. The Polar Bear 2000 compressor should have plenty of power for at least 2 airbrushes at the same time. It comes with everything you need and more.
