I've used Dixie Art before and recommend them. I also recommend West Coast Airbrush; they're particularly good at customer service, if you have an issue with an AB you can always get someone on the phone to help you.

That should be Coast Airbrush in Anaheim, CA not "West Coast Airbrush." Wink

I ordered my Badger Patriot 105 from Dixie Art, and they were great, also fast shipping considering I live in Australia.

Garage sale is where I got my 155 anthem.  I use it a ton for bigger jobs!  $35!

I went to Badgers website and got a blemished airbrush for $35 normaly $85 all that is wrong was the stamp on the side was messed up. It is a good brush works fine. My first airbrush was a pasche VL I got that  one at harbor freight tools very cheap price.

Nomad68, I got a 100LG from the garage sale, it says DEMO on the side. Big whoop! I'm considering picking up one of the 100 Side Feed for under $31. Heck of a deal. Yes The only thing stopping me is deciding if I actually need another airbrush in my collection, or do I add a kit to the stash? Decisions, decisions!

So long folks!

I agree it depends on the brand, but I have had good service and prices from Coast airbrush.

I've ordered two airbrushes from Dixieart and one from TC Graphics and Paint.  Both are super people to deal with...also, they get your stuff out sometimes the same day you order.  A couple weeks ago, I ordered my Badger Velocity from TC on a Sunday and I received an email later that evening that a postal label was printed.  I received it three days later and that was with free shipping.

I bought a Paasche years ago at Michaels on a 50% off Saturday. Just last week I bought a Badger from their site for 40% off. Shop the deals, that's the key.

TC Graphics and Paint.  Super fast shipping, great prices, a gem of a retailer to deal with.

They seem to be out of service for now.

I think i know what i want now.

BUT i wanna know where you guys recommend buying it from. Online only at this point.

There is NO one size fits all answer. It depends on what you want and where you live.

I got a good deal from Chicago Airbrush on a Harder & Steenbeck Evolution Silverline Solo. And before that, a Paasche DA400 compressor.

I got the best price at Hobby Lobby on an Iwata Eclipse HP-CS and Iwata parts.

I got the Badger Patriot 105 from Badger's own website, the webairbrushes.com. But you need to find one of their 40% off code to get the good price.

BTW, what do you want?

Ditto  on the suggestion for Dixie. I have ordered three AB's from them in the last few years, as well as parts and accessories, and was very happy with the experience and the prices.

Though I have never ordered from Dixie, I have heard nothing but positive comments about them.

What's wrong with using a 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby. Sometimes you can score a heck of deal. That's how I got my first Iwata.

I HIGHLY recommend Dixie Art Supplies at: http://www.dixieart.com/. Superb inventory, prices, service and very fast delivery.

I've ordered from them  many times, and always been 100% satisfied.
