Overcoating the enamel base colours with clear acrylic should be fine, provided that the enamels are fully cured (best left for 2-3 days).

However, acrylic washes over the clear acrylic may be problematic as it may work through the clear coat and may result in patchiness.  General rule of thumb is to use oil washes over acrylic and acrylic washes over emamels. In this case, if your top coat is acrylic, use an oil based wash.

Oil washes over Tamiya clear acrylics should be fine.

BTW: I recall an earlier post where you mentioned you used white (mineral) spirits with Humbrol paints. The white spirits should be fine with your Tamiya enamels too, and are much cheaper. Approx. $14.00 for 250ml of Tamiya enamel thinner vs. $12.00 or so for a litre of white spirits....
