Yes, it will work. Use as few strokes as possible in the same spot. You don't want to mistake brush strokes for a still-visible seam. Silver or aluminum color will show areas needing attention very clearly.

Maybe I am answering my own question here...

I am just learning to get the seam thing correct. Since I am at a time when using the spray booth isn't possible, (windy days and nights with snow) I thought I might use a brush with the acrylic paint to see if the seam does not show through.

Would this work, or should I wait until I can use the airbrush?
