Too Much Discount
Posted by JWrockets on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 10:15 PM

I purchased an Iwata HP-CS today at Hobby Lobby.  The retail price was $179.99.  The cashier rang it up as $17.99.  It didn't look right when she did it.  When she asked for just over $20 even with my 40% coupon I knew she made a hugh mistake.  I could not in good conscience let that go.  I told her to re-ring it at the correct price.  We both felt better.

Places to go, people to expose.

Hmmmm......you could have saved yourself $162 dollars(now that's a lot of money). If you felt bad about the extra money you could have taken it and then spent it on more kits at Hobby Lobby. That way you get more bang for your buck, you get an airbrush and a lion's share of kits while Hobby Lobby gets their money back. Hey, it's just an idea.

Way cool! It would be hard to accept it that way esp. there was a chance that the cashier could have have gotten in trouble or even lost her job.

Way to go!! I try real hard to teach my daughter that doing the right thing usually is the hard thing, and rarely is it the profitable thing to do.

We need more people like you in the world!
