Most opaque white for brush painting
Posted by Wilbur Wright on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 10:47 PM

Old problem new post. I'm finishing the QM2 in 400th scale, and after first airbrushing all the white, I have now brush painted all the decks (deck tan and also teak color on some decks). Now to go back and touch up where these colors may have gotten on the white.

Using both MM flat white which did not cover the corrections/touch up needed after two coats, I used Tamiya ft white on another section and after two coats that didn't cover. The spots show through. If only translucent.

I will now get some Humbrol ft white which I'm out of at the present time.

What is the most opaque white for this purpose.

Its way to complex and involved a model to even think about having masked what I'm referring to fyi.

Vallejo makes the most opaque white in my experience.
