Haven't seen the new issue yet, but I think it's a great idea. I would think that when the first bottle gets too grungy, you would replace it with a new bottle, then make the original second bottle the new first one, and so on. I'm gonna try it.

Also, empty Fuji Film cans make great containers for this, and you may be able to get them free at a photo shop, or maybe the One Hour Photo dept. at Walgreens. Just be careful when you open them, as the cap fits really tight. I have several and label them each for lacquer thinner, denatured alcohol, Future, and also thinned mixes.

Use the three in sequence, the same sequence every time. The brush gets a bit cleaner with each jar, even when you think you've done a pretty good job of cleaning it in the last jar.

Tip of the Week

Can someone please clarify for me the point Dean Wilson is making in the current tip of the week? Okay so you put thinner in three bottles. Then what? Do you use them all to clean the brush in sequence or do you just use one after another until they're gone? Hate to appear dense, but I don't get it. I would have written to Dean directly but couldn't find his email address. Thanks.Dunce [D)]
