I am getting ready to spray a flat clear coat on my tiger and was wondering if it would peel off my enamel base because its lacquer (and ive had it peel off the base coat before). Just worried cuz its a sexy paint job LOL.

I'm not too sure about this, but i have heard that laquer will eat away at almost any paint... you may want to give it a coat of future before you try anything. Oh, and i was wondering, what brand of flat clear is that? Smile [:)]

You can spray lacquer clears over enamels but it must be done in light mist coats. If you spray lacquer wet over enamel you will have problems but if you spray several light coats over it then it should not affect it.
