airbrush cleaning
Posted by maxfax on Friday, July 30, 2010 9:25 AM

Hello everyone,

I have been using for a number of years the Testor's A470(the lower end of the version) and a friend just gave me an Iwata HP C(?) or something to that effect- it is an older brush(10 years old), never used, no instructions with it. With the Testor's airbrush, cleaning was easy- I just sprayed some alcohol through it after rinsing the cup and tip. Now this type of airbrush requires a different method of cleaning, I believe. Do I have to take it apart every time I change paints to clean the needle/internal components or at the end of a session?

Thanks

Rob
