Hello;

I just ordered some SNJ Aluminum paint and was wondering what others had to say about this product. I am folowing the online build for the AM F3F-1 and he used the MM metalzer Aluminum. I have heard problems with MM metalizer rubing off. Any thoughts.

I bought a couple bottles a bit ago, aluminum and something else, can't remember right this moment.  I was a little less than impressed.  It sprayed really thin, with very little coverage.  Granted, it was just a few test sprays, but it took me multiple coats, and letting it dry between, to get a decent metallic coat.  I will revisit it soon, just to say I did not give up too easily, but first impressions were not favorable.

I did recently try Vallejo's Model Air Aluminum.  It's a bit thick right out of the bottle, and I generally don't thin model air paint.  I cut it about 3:1 paint to Future, and it shot like a dream!  Great coverage, flowed well through my Badger 100LG.  When I tackle a metal finish, I think it'll be vallejo for me all the way!
