You might be able to use acrylic based washes.  There are several commercial ones made for painting figures for war gaming.  I also make washes for figures out of Future and Liquitex acrylic inks.  You can thin Future with distilled water, if necessary.  I imagine commercial and home-made acrylic washes would be pretty gentle over just about anything.

Hello;
I was wondering what types of washes can be used over MM Metalizer paint. Oil washes take the paint off even when its sealed with MM sealer.
