Oil and acrylic painters (artists) mix paint all the time.  Look for a book at the library that gives tips on the process.  And maybe buy a color wheel at an art store as an aid to mixing paint.

Cool thank you.  I actually just found this Paint guide and it gives alternate paints are they usually accurate?

With a subject like that you are not likely to find an exact match. Not enough modelers buying that paint. Your best option is to buy something close and try to add whatever color needs to be added. Mixing paint to match odd colors is an art, the only way to get better at it is to do it. The more you do the better you will get. Don't let it stop you from buying it and doing the best you can. Good luck with the build !!!

Hello,

usually before i buy a model i do some research based on what the marking details say for the paint colors but often i have issues finding the paint colors listed with the model.  Such as Fiery Red, or Patina Green.  Is it just me??  Am i interpreting these colors correctlly???

Here is a link to a model that im looking into buying with the colors
