Paasche Millenium airbrush

I'm considering purchasing a second airbrush (to go with my old and trusty Paasche H model) that can do some of the finer camo detail. I have found the forum discussions on Iwata, Badger, etc. interesting and informative but haven't seen the new Paasche Millenium mentioned. I am familiar with the VL model, but the Millenium appears to be a newer design, physically resembling the Badger Anthem and Iwata Eclipse models. It comes with 3 needle assemblies,fine, medium & broad, plus accessories for about $80. Anyone with "hands on" experience with this tool ?

I am not familiar with them from using them but I do know that Paasche brought them out to help with dwindling sales of their airbrushes to the T&C , Omnis, Vega's, Anthems, and Iwata's Eclipse which are all single-needle/tip designs. I'm sure they are pretty good overall as are all of the above mentioned models. I like the Omni's and Vega's myself but the others are quite good also.
I am going to have to buy an Anthem and see how they perform as I know some T-shirt artists who swear by them over every other brand.

I have the Millenium Paasche double action. The only thing i really dont like about it is you have to take the whole thing apart to get it real clean. Other than that, its just fine, if you like double action airbrushes.

This is the case with almost any Paasche Double Action airbrush....they are an absolute pain in the....to clean. Shortcuts? Nope not unless you want a ruined finish or an accidental dose of the previous color with the one your currently spraying![:0] Black Eye [B)]

Color changes are almost as bad as cleaning, and involve some pretty thourough cleaning...or else what Ive already said will happen. Im speaking from VL experience though.....

Im not trying to talk you out of getting the Paasche, as I wouldnt do that.....much! LOL All I was trying to point out there is nothing easy with these airbrushes. Especially when it comes to cleaning.

If your not going to want to spray more than one color in a session, then go for it. If you have your heart set on it, again go for it. It's your money and your modeling and therefore your desicion. I just wanted to point out the only real "big" downside I have with Paasche airbrushes.
