i bought the future floor wax today from a local supermarket.
and tested it out on certain surfaces.
i still did not test it out on enamel gloss paints. i am afraid try from the experience that i already got.
i've seen certain tutorials where people applied future over alclad chrome. and it looked pretty good. i can't really tell for sure cuz it's a photo. but he/she had a better result than i did.
i tested this stuff out on different part that i have already chromed days ago. and future totally destroyed the finish. it pretty much became flat silver. i lost at least 50% of the alclad original shine.
i shot this stuff on arylics. it made the surface a little more glossier, but i don't find it to be more glossy than the gunze topcoat.
is there a better technique? my airbrush f&*&(98 sux? the psi. was too high? (20 psi)
this stuff doesn't work at all i tell ya. well ok, it has it's uses. but damn. a whole 7 bucks just to topcoat my acrylics? i could have bought another bottle of chrome with 7 bucks.
oh well. i guess i'll have to deal with. or wait until alclad makes some clear coats. sorry to say but, i hate them damn topcoats!
but any tips will help.
thanks
