Hi Sparrowhyperion

try the following web sites. Their prices are really competitive

http://www.dixieart.com/Dixie_Art_Supplies_Airbrush_Main_Page.html

http://www.chicagoairbrushsupply.com/

i live in Australia and I bought my patriot 105 from Dixie art for a fraction of the cost It was for sale locally.

 Watchmann:

Hi Rich,

I've never used a Badger 155, so I can't help you there, but Michaels does often have 25%-50% coupons in their adds.

I wonder what I have to do to get one of their ad flyers...?  Thanks.

Easy!  Got to Michael's website and click on the Online Flyer link at the top of the page.  Then, click on the image of the coupon.  keep clicking until it appears as a printable coupon.  There's one for 40% right now!  Get out there and spend some money, Man!  What are you waiting for?! Wink

Thanks Don!  I took the plunge.  Total $69.95 for the complete kit.  Even with their coupon Michaels would have been around $90, so you just saved me a chunk of change.  I can hardly wait to get my mitts on it.  Now I need to find a cheap used decent compressor.  Fortunately eBay seems to have an abundance of those.

Thanks!  Have you dealt with this seller before?  Are the reputable?

Here's a 155 complete with side cup and jar for $63.  It's my favorite airbrush, and I think it's a bargain.

Anthem 155 Alternatives?
Posted by Sparrowhyperion on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 11:28 AM

Hi everyone.  I need to pick your brains a bit.  I was planning on getting a Badger 155 Anthem airbrush to replace the el-cheapo Master airbrush I have now.  The problem is expense.  Our Hobby Lobby doesn't carry any Badger airbrushes (just Paasche) and the local Michaels wants over $150 for it.  I have been sniped every time on eBay so I am about to give up there.  My question is...

What other brand models would you say are comparable to the 155 for control, reliability and not having to go out and buy extra needles for different application?  I have heard Paasche and Iwata mentioned but I really don't know much about them.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Rich
