i need tips to paint my armor and to choose a good air brush
Posted by iuseAcademyHobbyKit on Thursday, January 6, 2011 10:01 PM

hi guys. can you help me with this sitch:

- i have a set of Academy paints and i always add thinner to make the paint be more (i dont know the propered word for this hope u can help)  and i dont know if i can replace the thinner with water.

- i am planning on buying a airbrush from Citadel modeling ( gameworkshop associated), here is the link the the airbrush

https://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?prodId=prod1350028&rootCatGameStyle=

on the Citadel painting jar, it said add water and color, but i dont know if my Academy paints can add water. so i need some tips on buying a good airbrush with a deal-able price (from $10- $90)

now for the Stug's assembling

- i used to and always assemble the model first then paint it, but through time i found it hard to detail painting in some of the comers. so i changed my tactic: for big part such as hull, turret, etc. i use spray paint can to get the job done. then for the smaller parts such as MG, lights, helmets, gas can... i paint them using brushes.  NOW, i need ur opinions, tips and some suggestion on assemble and paint armor
