Doogs gives a good example of one way to preshade black on the Nightfighter GB thread with his Mozzie. Try here

To highlight details on a black aircraft..post shade with a lighter color. I like to use a dark gray.

Any hints regarding pre-shading the Stealth?

Give it an overall base color...flat black. Then mask off a few panels and apply the same flat black with a drop or two of dark gray. Then again mask off yet others, try adding some dark blue...any color that will give the color a change in tint/tone.

Can anyone give me any tips on how to paint the black panelized look of stealth aircraft?
