You might try this.  Remove the bottle from the airbrush.  Turn the airbrush upside down.  With the compressor running, use an eyedropper to drop a little thinner or water in the paint intake hole of the nozzle.  Press the trigger and see if the airbrush sprays.  If it does, the problem is the bottle.  If it doesn't, it's the airbrush.  Maybe the nozzle is clogged.

If the bottle is the problem, clean it and blow in the paint tube to see if it's clear.  Make sure the vent hole in the lid is not blocked.

Paint Flow Problems
Posted by personman906 on Saturday, February 5, 2011 5:58 PM

This has nothing to do with my airbrush, but maybe with the siphon cap.  This is a single action external mix airbrush (A270). I'm using an Aztek ball-joint siphon cap. Now, onto the problem.

My airbrush hasn't been spraying paint.  The paint's getting into the siphon tube, but not to the mouth of the cap, much less the nozzle.  At first I thought it was thinner problems, but I used "airbrush-ready" paint and the same thing happened. Does anyone know why this is happening? Is it a clog in the ball joint? HELP ME!!!
