Hi everyone,
I have been currently a single action trigger type airbrush that I bought from Everything Airbrush, and would like to purchase a double action airbrush for some finer work, ( going to attempt panel lines ) and weathering.
The AB that I currently have was quite inexpensive, I'm sure it was only about £40.00, but with it being a trigger type I feel as though when it comes to fine detail work I dont have alot of control, but on the other hand I find it very good when painting bike fairings and car bodies.
I have been looking at the Iwata ranges of AB's but there is so many out there and would like some advice on what would be the best for my skills which I would probably describe as a beginner/ intermediate.
Thanks in advance,
Darren
If you are looking at the Iwata range any of them would work just fine for you. The eclipse is a good starting point.

Cheers,
I have read the other posts for a good starter set, should have read this first but was on nightshift at work and you could say the brain was not in gear..lol
Decided to go for an Iwata, either an Eclipse or a Revolution.
Thanks.
Hi Darren,
You may also wish to consider this. https://airbrushes.com/product_info.php?products_id=1110
It's a rebadged version of the Sparmax SP-35. You don't hear much about Sparmax airbrushes, but they're good and solid and reliable. I use a Sparmax SP-35C and it does everything I want it to do. The only problems I've had with it were problems of my own making.
There are a few reviews of the G-35 around the net, check them out.
Thanks Phil
It looks a nice airbrush, will have a look at some of the reviews, and its a little cheaper than the Iwata revolution BR I was looking at.
I want to get as much advice as possible before choosing the right one.
Thanks again Phil.
Hello
have you looked at Badger's Renegade Velocity. I got one a few months ago and I live it.. its a great double action gravity feed brush.. and can do fairly fine details with it.. there are plenty of reviews of it out there if you do a search..

I have the same AB and would concur with your assesment that it is a quality, yet inexpensive piece of kit.
