Never have had that happen! I would guess that shipment was somehow stored for awhile in a bad environment.

Where is the leak- nozzle area or the bottom seam?  In addition to corrosion I wonder what would happen if the shipment was exposed to high temp immediately followed by high altitude.  Would that overstress the seams?  My iimpression is that the seams on pressure cans are usually pretty strong. I guess another problem might be a manufacturing goof that gave a bad crimp on the seam, in which case a whole batch may be bad.

Just do not buy anymore that could possibly be from that batch or shipment.  Next time you go somewhere to buy, examine can thoroughly.

Dullcote Leaking?

Just applied Dullcote to my Tamiya SdKfz 222 and both my Dullcote spray cans leaked like crazy.

Never had this problem before with the stuff.

I trashed both cans but am now afraid to get anymore.

I have Testor Acryl Flat Clear any used this stuff? How does it work?

Thanks in advance......

Scott
