chrome silver master model enamel
Posted by thumper on Monday, April 4, 2011 11:30 AM

Hey guys can anyone tell me if i need to spray future on an F-100 model after the paint dries to apply decals and then do i apply another coat of future over the decals to seal them in on a high gloss model. The hun is finished in master model chrome silver paint and i dont have enough experience with modeling and air brushing just yet and dont want to ruin the finish and have to start all over.   thanks thumper

You shouldn't have to apply it before you decal. Any finish you use afterward may make the finish tone down. I have had future change the look and sheen of NM before, but I am not an expert and may have done something wrong.

I have never had a problem putting decals directly on silver or gloss aluminum paints.
