                        How To Hide Damaged Future Coat

                        My Eduard Sopwith Camel was painted, covered with a coat of Future, and decalled.  I was preparing to give it a finishing coat of Pollyscale Clear Satin with my airbrush when disaster struck: I spilled a bit of isopropyl alcohol on the fuselage, which clouded the Future in 4 places.  I quickly washed it with dish washing liquid and warm water and rinsed, but no luck; the blemished areas remain visible.  Is there anything I can do to hide or greatly tone down these crazed marks?

                        Most repair tips I've seen offered up for this sort of thing have the same basics. Sand the area as much as you dare with very fine grit sanding films, then re-coat. Worst case scenario, you my have a little paint touchup to do. And the fact that you will be laying a satin coat over the whole thing may help hide the blemish. Good luck!

                        I tried your suggestion and it worked; the cloudy blemishes are no longer visible under the new coat of Future.  I am now going to let it cure for 48 hours and then apply the final coat of clear satin.  Thanks!
