Has anyone used this compressor for modeling? I've seen it on you tube comparing it quietness to two other brands. I need a quiet compressor for late night painting.

For others who are interested, here is the manufacturer's web page with the comparison video. It is remarkably quiet compared to the Sears unit. But still slightly noiser than most designed for airbrushing as shown in the Silentaire chart below. Most modern piston airbrush compressor (Iwata, Sparmax, Paasche etc.) are in the 55-58 dbA range.
It is sold for $250 at Walmart, Sears and other Amazon sellers. Similar 1-HP oil lubed compressor is typically half of that at Sears if you need the flow rate and pressure and even cheaper when on sale, but much noiser as the GMC video shows.
I have a Sears compressor in the garage for household jobs and a Paasche DA400 for airbrush. I paid $220 for both when they were on sale. Regular price is closer to $300 for both.
The biggest question is how durable the GMC Syclone will be?
It's quoted on the manufacturers site at 60db, which is absolutely not quiet for an airbrushing compressor, it may be reasonably quiet for a tool / workshop compressor, but not for airbrushing.
Regular piston airbrush compressors generally run somewhere between 45>55db, with some larger high output units operating in the 60db range. If you want anything quieter than that you have to look at units that use oil filled, hermetic refrigeration type motors, such as Sil-Air, Silentaire......
I notice that the chart Keilau has posted shows "Sil-Air" as having an output of 40db - this is correct for their largest units, but most of there units suited to airbrushing are rated at 30db
