Many thanks for the suggestions.  I'm off to my nearest Home Depot for the lacquer thinner.

Heck, I just painted a model using Mr. Color paint.  I used a product called Klean Strip Lacquer Thinner that I bought from Home Depot.  A one quart can cost less than $10 IIRC.  The results were great and a 1 quart can will last for a couple of years.  Now that I know it works great I won't waste the money on Mr. Color thinner.

For the Mr Color lacquer based paints, Tamiya Lacquer thinner (yellow cap) will also work. At a pinch, regular lacquer thinners should work, but may be too aggressive and may melt styrene.

Besides Mr. Color thinner what is another alternate thinner that can be used for Mr. Color paint?  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks
