I've decanted many rattle cans but I just did one this morning & lost all the paint. I used my usual method turning the can upside down & clamped with a wood clamp. The tube should be at the bottom of the can. Don't get it.
Very odd, I guess it may have a hole in the top of the straw in the can or something??????

Yes I know it's odd. I tried another can but didn't want to waste my last can of this color. It kept spraying color so I stopped. Not really looking for a solution, cause there aint' one, just wanted to give a heads up. Thinking I might punch a tiny hole in the top to release repelant.
Punching a hole in a pressurized containier is just asking for trouble. IF you do it make sure to do it outside and use goggles.

The one time this happened to me I discovered, after opening the can, that the plastic tube inside had fallen off. Therefore, when I turned the can upside down all the paint was lost.
I always open the cans after decanting to retrieve the ball/marble and plastic tube.
