Yes you can but I say why use something so toxic and hard to dispose of?
Get some Castrol Super Clean from an automotive store as it cleans paint off much better than brake fluid does. Easy-off oven cleaner also works well.

stipping paint with brake fluid

Hello everybody,

I heard somewhere that you could use brake fluid to strip paint off models. Is that true ? If so what do you do ? Do you soak it ? For how long ? What do you do after stripping to prep the body for new paint ?

Can any one help ?
