Cadet Chuck

Forget those instructions.  You can buy "Raptor Sheen" from Hawkeye's Hobbies, on line.  It is a paint additive.  You mix it with Testor's Model Master Enamels and airbrush it on.  I used light and dark ghost gray, with the Raptor Sheen additive.  It's effect is subtle, but it looks good to me.   Note, the Raptor Sheen additive is for Testor's enamels only, not Mr. Color or anything else.

Well I do love the easy fix!  I'll give that a shot.

I haven't used them, but my understanding is that the Gunze "Mr Color" Toners are metallic lacquer based paints, not powders.

Hey all.  On Hase's 1-48 F-22 the instructions on how to achieve the metallic tint to the paint scheme call for cutting the grays with "Super Iron" and "Super Stainless" toners.  Has anyone used these toners?  In my head I keep thinking these are like copier toner, as in a powder form.  Do these work with enamels, acrylics, both, neither?
