Badger 150 Review

Thanks Don. Nice review. I got a 150 7 years ago, when I got back into modeling. It's the only airbrush I've ever owned. I've been very happy with it. Glad to see I am not missing out by not owning others, as I already have a high quality brush. I also like that it's very east to obtain parts for it from towerhobbies, etc.

That regulator looks like the face of it is basically the same as the 105/155 regulator. I know they don't interchange. May have to give one a try on my 100LG. And btw, it uses the same short needle and needle tube as the 150. If you find out why it's made that way I'd like to know too Don.

Nice review Don. Good to see the old 150 stands up pretty well to the "latest and greatest". They sure knew what they were doing when they designed that one.

It is interesting to read Don's reviews in this sequence, 150, 155 and 3155. It allows you to see how the design philosophy evolved at Badger.

Don, yet another well done review. One that is close to my heart, as the venerable 150 was my first airbrush.

Rather than filing down the crown regulator, Badger makes one for the 200-20 detail that would save you some work. Essentially, it allows the needle tip to extend beyond the regulator, so that you can get the tip extremely close to the surface. So close, that any closer and you would no longer be airbrushing, but tattooing! I don't have the P/N handy, and I am out of town for the week, but I can post the P/N when I get home.
