Check your local craft store's paint department. You can find similar brushes for less!

Colonel,

I bought a set from MicroMark to paint 144th scale figures.  They're OK, but I haven't gotten the reason for the stubby handles. I figured they were special ergonomically superior handles that would work better for really fine work, but I didn't notice any particular advantage--- in fact, they'd work better for me with regular "stick" handles.  Also, while the brush heads are small, I've done just as well doing micro-surgery on some fine paint brushes I already have to make them "finer".  I'll use this set from MicroMark, but I probably wouldn't make the purchase again, given what I know now and the relatively high cost.
