Source For Future
Posted by Whiskers on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 1:08 AM

Future (and all floor finishes) seem to be a hard thing to find nowadays.  After visiting Several different stores and finding no trace of it, and little of any other floor finish/wax for that matter, I've about decided nobody waxes their floors anymore. LOL, can't say I blame them as I can't remember the last time I did such a thing.

Anyway, I found a good place to get the stuff, It's from a website called Soap.com.  They are in Kansas, and have it for $7.55 a bottle, which is a good bit cheaper than what these turkey are selling it for on Amazon or Fleabay.  Additionally, Order up $25 worth of stuff, and you can get free shipping.  They also sister with sites called diapers.com, and wags.com (which is pet stuff), so you aren't limited to soap. Add code YANKEESFAN After you build up your $25 worth and you get a additional 20% off.

I got 2 bottles of Future and 3 packs of 4 Yardley English Lavender soap for $21.  Very good price As that Yardley stuff is skyscraper high in most stores.  The company has great reviews and ratings on Resellerratings.com, and I got my order in 2 business days.

So if your having trouble finding Future, surf over to Soap.com and grab you a lifetime supply while they still have it.  They told me they have several cases in stock.  While your at it, get your pet some dog biscuits, brushes, new bed, or whatever.  Or if you are masochistic and have one of them screaming things, go to diapers.com.   In the reviews I read they apparently are cheaper than grocery stores.

In my area Walmart carries it. $5.88

It was in the grocery department section with mops and brooms.

No problem getting Future in and around the Military District of Washington (DC, Maryland, Virginia, and fiddly-bits).

I had that problem a few years ago. They changed the name to 'Pledge' with "future shine". Same product, but it threw me off at first. Most grocery stores carry it, at least here in Houston.

I have had no problem finding Future at local Walmart or Target at much lower price in the St. Louis area.

Anyone else other than Wiskers who cannot find Future at local Store? How big is Althens, AL?

Whiskers, did you ask the service at your local Walmart whether they can order it? It sounds like a very common household item to me.

I checked several stores in my area, Dollar General, Biglots, Family Dollar, Publix, Lowe's, And Wal Mart.  Athens isn't a very large town, but it big enough to have full size Walmart superstores and Publix.  I also looked on Walmarts website and future is not something you can order from them, but it is listed and you can check local inventory.  Most of the stores around here show it as "Check store for Availability" which means they don't have it, but won't admit it cause they think if you go all the way there you'll maybe buy something else.  Closest store that did list it in Stock was a good 50 miles from me, and I didn't want to drive 100 miles to get a damn bottle of Future.  Especially at today's gas prices

I had already learned about the name change and packaging, I knew what to look for. Thank god.  Wal mart also sells a pledge product with nearly the same name for wood floors, but I was smart enough to know that what I wanted was for Linoleum and Tile.

For what it's worth, Pledge One Go (the Australasian equivalent of Future) is pretty much impossible to find in Brisbane now.

I've searched all the major department and hard ware stores and nobody seems to stock it anymore.

Thanks for the soap.com website - i'm going to see if they'll ship internationally and just buy up big on it.

Chris.
