Ordering Enamel Paints in Canada
Posted by WheelsUp on Thursday, August 25, 2011 10:19 PM

I'm wondering if any of the Canadians on here have any advice on ordering enamel paints. Unfortunately SprueBrothers, etc. do not ship enamel paints to Canada and the LHS doesn't always have the colors that I need.

Does anyone know of an online retailer in Canada that will ship these paints via FedEx? Canada Post has banned them apparently. Anyone had luck ordering through a hobby shop in the Toronto area?

There are a few colors that I am having difficulty finding...

You should check Great Hobbies out: http://www.greathobbies.com/search/results/?srchtype=AdvSearch&srchcat=LPN (I've linked right to the paint section.)

I've bought RC stuff from them but I live in Edmonton so we have a local store. There's one out east as well and one opening in Mississauga.

Thanks for the link, there have a pretty good selection but didn't have the IJN green and grey I was looking for. I'll definitely be checking back there in the future when I need paint.

Luckily I was able to find some at a hobby shop in Hamilton, they also were able to order another color for me.

If you are looking for a specific paint, and it is made by Tamiya, you might be doing a lot of searching. Their stuff is pretty scarce in North America at the moment due to a labeling change.

Excuse me.. Is that an Uzi?
