I bought off Great Models.com the 45cent accurate miniatures decals for this plane, and it didn't come with any painting diagram, all I know from looking at the boxart of the AM kit is that it's the standard OD over NG with white identification stripes, I dont know anything else about the aircraft, and was wondering if anyone knew where there would be some reference material for this aircraft.

I bought these to replace the tamiya kit decals, which are usually too thick for me, are AM decals very good? or was this a waste of my 45 cents...the decal sheet is copy right 96'

Thanks for anything!

The only AM decals I have used are teh ones in a few of their kits. I have no complaints of the quality of those. 45 cents for any decals is no worries. As long as they have been stored properly, you should have no problems with their age. This particualr aircraft was part of the 357th Fighter Group, a unit of several famous aces, although off hand I dont know who the pilot was. Here are a few shots of her. As you can see she started with the standard white nose before getting the 357th's colors later on.
