Hi Lads

can any one tell  me what tamiya paint colours i need to paint my SU 100 ,

I have been looking through my  finescale mags with no luck as they all use model master russian green

on russian tanks and i don't want to buy as i have a lot of tamiya paint in stock.

Most of time, people start with Tamiya XF-61 Dark Green for Russian Armor. That's what I do.

It was during war time, the actual color will vary from picture to picture. Be creative. Mix it with some Olive Drab if XF-61 is to green and too bright for you.

someone recommended XF-51 Khaki Drab,i liked it and used it for my JSU-152 basecoat.Shades varied most greens will do,it's all about expermentation and what you like..You need to take into consideration your modulating colors,filters,and weathering also.

Olive Green XF-58 is simialr to Testors MM Russian Armor Green, or JN Green XF-11 is suggested often.
